A Walk Around The Block: Out With The G6 Thumb Camera
A Walk Around The Block: Out With The G6 Thumb Camera
It's been quite dismal weather-wise since the New Year. Portugal has been struck by what has been labelled the 'comboio de tempestades' (train of storms). After Ingrid, there was Joseph, Kristin (which left a trail of destruction that Portugal is still trying to recover from), Leonardo, Marta, Nils, and finally Oriana. As a result, we've found ourselves sheltering at home, rather than getting out and about, which has been easy, as up until a couple of days ago, Portugal had had only four dry days since the beginning of the year.
Hopefully, now that's all over — except for the thousands of people who are still without electricity, and the tens of thousands who have had their lives, homes and businesses literally turned upside down by the storms — and the weather will settle down a bit. In fact, a few days ago the clouds dispersed and the sun came out. For one day, at least. I took that opportunity to get out with a new (to me) camera, a Canon Powershot A80 with a wonderfully failing sensor. I also brought along the circuit bent G6 Thumb Camera, and present here a short gallery of some of the images they camera delivered.
