The #FrugalFilmProject for July: The Agfa Clack in Oliveira do Bairro, 01 July 2023

Hot on a roll, I took the Agfa Clack to Oliveira do Bairro. The results were a little disappointing and frustrating. I had hoped that the fountain in the centre of the town was working, as this would have made an awesome trichrome, but thanks to the social responsibility of the town council this was turned off because of the local drought. 

The other frustration was that although I told the lab that the photographs were 6×9, which is the film format of the Agfa Clack,  they insisted on scanning them at 6×7. Thus 2cm of the image was lost, and when they did scan them the images were not aligned, making constructing the trichromes a little more complicated. That said, I was happy that the image of the water tower came out really well. 

With the two remaining frames I achieved mixed success. The image of the water tower came out quite well, though the top was cut off because I was positioned right next to the edge of the pavement, and the photograph of the town hall was blown out. I would have been better off using the red filter on this one.
